About Lincoln Technical Institute
Lincoln Technical Institute was founded just after WWII in response to a need for job training programs for returning war veterans. The goal then, and now, was to provide students with knowledge and training that would allow them to be productive and profitable members of the work force. Massage Therapy Program
Instructors of massage at Lincoln Tech view therapeutic massage as a holistic approach to health. The massage therapy program is structured to include a combination of hands-on training and thorough coursework in the science of massage. Students will receive extensive training in anatomy and physiology in order to have a complete understanding of the internal mechanics of massage therapy.
The curriculum of the massage therapy program at Lincoln Tech is designed to prepare students to offer the healing touch of a skilled massage therapist to clients. Students will understand how to treat the whole person, emotionally and physically, as they use massage to promote relaxation, reduce stress, treat and prevent injuries and enhance blood flow to all muscle groups.
In order to capitalize on the excellent massage training they receive, students will also be trained to successfully launch a career as a massage therapist. Whether they choose to start their own business or seek employment with a spa or health care facility, Lincoln Tech will make sure that students learn the skills necessary to build and launch a business or market themselves to prospective employers.
Financial Aid
The staff at Lincoln tech is committed to assisting each student to identify every relevant method of funding an education. If financial assistance is required, they will help you formulate a funding plan. The plan may include Federal and State grants, loans, private financing or developing an affordable payment plan.
Once identified as qualified to receive Federal Aid, students may benefit from Stafford Loans, PLUS loans or Pell grants. Lincoln Tech students receive more than $1 million in scholarships each year. The financial aid staff will assist students in determining eligibility and filing appropriate applications.
Faculty
Lincoln Tech is quite well-networked in all the industries for which it supplies training. Before you complete your program, you will meet with a Career Services professional. Facilities
Lincoln Tech's Allentown Campus is on 10 acres of land and occupies a 26,000 square foot building. The school has been training residents of the Allentown area since 1949 and has a very good reputation in the area.
