American Career College was founded in 1978. At first, ACC specialized in optics; later the curriculum expanded to meet the needs of the community. American Career College allows students to earn certificates in the program of study they are interested in – ACC isn’t a traditional two or four year college and doesn’t award associate’s or bachelor’s degrees.
