As a student in the Massage Therapy program you will receive instruction in therapeutic massage. You will also be taught about the structure and function of the human body. Students will be trained in hydrotherapy, the legal issues associated with massage, the prevention of medical errors, and other related massage techniques. Graduates will receive an Associate of Science Degree with a major in Massage Therapy.
As a student at Keiser University, you will be eligible to use the placement services available through the Office of Student Services. At Keiser University, the massage therapy student can complete courses such as Massage Theory, Human Structure and Function, Body Systems, Therapeutic Massage, Allied Modalities, Theory and Practice of Hydrotherapy, Pathology and Kinesiology, Sports Massage, Legal and Ethical Business Practices, and Spa Theory and Technique. In addition, the A.S. Degree requires 24 credit hours in General Studies.
