About the Massage Therapy Program

At Everest Institute, the Massage Therapy program is an entry-level program in which students study the problems associated with soft tissue dysfunction and the application of massage therapy. You will be provided with a thorough review of anatomy and physiology and a variety of other medical topics.
Those studying in this program can expect to become fully competent in a variety of massage therapy techniques. You will also be proficient at preparing proper documentation and practicing effective business methods. Students will be introduced to Swedish/Deep Tissue Massage, Movement Anatomy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Orthopedic Evaluation and Pathology.
An important part of the curriculum includes classes in medical terminology, pharmacology, and documentation to provide you with the proper clinical skills. You will become proficient at assessing and documenting your massage sessions and communicating effectively with insurance professionals.
