Utah Massage LicensingThe state of Utah issues massage therapy licenses at the state level and they are overseen by the Board of Massage Therapy. The state has been regulating massage therapists since 1981.

Utah requires at least 600 hours of education from an approved school. The state also requires applicants to take the NCETMB and the Utah Massage Law and Rule Examination. The license renewal period occurs every 2 years with no CE requirement.

Request Application: The application fee is $60, the BCI fingerprint fee is $20, the FBI fingerprint fee is $20 and the license renewal fee is $52.
