Maric College was founded in 1976 to prepare students for allied health careers. In 2004, they absorbed campuses of California College, allowing Maric to provide educational services in communities throughout California. The school is part of Kaplan, Inc.’s Higher Education Division.
Maric is a career college, which means it focuses on giving students the skills and knowledge they need for a real-world job. Academics is part of the curriculum and is integrated with skill acquisition in lab and clinical settings.
The college provides a personalized, step-by-step admissions process that gives students the opportunity to set scholastic and career goals and explore options for achieving those goals. After admission, students can access free tutoring, career services and guidance as they need it. Graduates can take advantage of placement services and post-graduate refresher courses at no cost.

Massage Therapy Program
The Maric College massage therapy program is a 36 week class leading to a diploma in Massage Therapy. Graduates are qualified to sit for the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and Body Work.
The curriculum is broken into six modules and includes 370 hours of theory, 290 hours of laboratory skill practice and 60 hours of clinical practice. Students learn Shiatsu, Swedish massage, Eastern and sports massage, and other techniques and therapies.Accreditation
Maric College is accredited by the Accrediting Council of the American Career College and Schools and Colleges of Technology. It is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
Facilities/Faculty
Maric operates three campuses in the San Diego area, and students can learn Massage Therapy at any of them. The campuses are modern with up to date lab and instructional technology.
