What can Berdan Institute offer you?
Course Objective
As a student of Berdan Institute's Massage Therapy Program, you will receive 750 hours of classroom, lab and clinical instruction with the goal of having all the necessary skills for an entry level massage and body works therapist.
In addition to the technical skills taught, you will also receive some training in the business and professional areas so you will have the confidence to go out into the job market. Berday Institute will teach you to balance the nurturing character of massage therapy with, and understanding of, the need to produce and income.
Program Length
There are both daytime and evening courses. The daytime program includes six 125 hour modules, Monday thru Friday for five hours per day. Total 30 weeks.
The evening program includes six 125 hours modules, Monday thru Thursday for four and one half hours per night. Total 42 weeks.
Graduation
Upon graduation, students will receive a certificate in massage therapy and will be prepared to take the Natinal certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Body works.
You will then be qualified to work in health clinics, spas, resorts, physical therapy practices, chiropractic offices and other massage therapy establishments.
