Bloomington is a major suburb in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. It was home for the Minnesota Vikings of the NFL and the Minnesota Twins of MLB for more than 20 years. But in 1982 both teams were moved to the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in downtown Minneapolis.
