The state of Nebraska issues massage therapy licenses on the state level and is overseen by the Nebraska Massage Therapy Board.
Massage therapy regulations have been in force in this state since 1958. The state requires a minimum of 1,000 hours of education and requires applicants to take the NCETMB exam and obtain a passing score.
The license renewal period occurs every 2 years and 24 hours of CE is required.
