About The Chubb Institute
For 30 years the Chubb Institute has provided first-rate training to success oriented individuals seeking to start or advance in a career. The training is focused on providing students the skills that prospective employers will be looking for when filling positions.
The Chubb Institute began when a large insurance company had difficulty finding skilled workers to staff its computer operations center. To resolve this issue the company set up its own training program. The graduates of this program were so proficient that soon other major companies began requesting trained computer professionals. As a result the program was established as an independent institution and the Chubb Institute was born.
Today The Chubb Institute provides quality education at the postsecondary level to those seeking careers in Technology and Allied Health Care. Massage Therapy Program
Massage therapists tend to have one common characteristic…they enjoy being around people. Not only do they enjoy people, they care about people and like most in the healthcare field they want to help others feel their best physically and emotionally. The massage therapy program at The Chubb Institute will provide caring individuals who have a desire to succeed as massage therapists the knowledge, training and experience they will need.
Students of the massage therapy program will receive instruction in a variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, reflexology and aromatherapy. A thorough classroom review of the key aspects of anatomy, physiology and pathology as well as body mechanics is also presented.
The massage therapy also introduces students to other factors that complement massage in a holistic approach to wellness including nutrition and stress management. Students will also engage in hands-on experience in a supervised clinical setting. They will also participate in a comprehensive review of the factors necessary to start a massage therapy business.
Upon completion of the program, students will receive a diploma and will have all of the skills necessary to embark on a career as a massage therapist.
Financial Aid
The Chubb Institute is committed to assisting every qualified student to obtain the funds necessary to finance their education here. After enrolling, students will be provided a Financial Aid packet which contains the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The information provided on this form will allow the federal government to calculate the amount of aid you will receive.
Once the form is submitted you will meet with a Financial Advisor to determine the options available to you for education financing. If you are qualified, you will be able to apply for loans, grants scholarships and other funding options.
The Financial Aid team will work with each student to determine the appropriate funding sources, identify the proper application procedures and gather the necessary information. You will receive expert support through the entire process to insure that you receive all financial support to which you are entitled.
