About Lincoln Technical Institute
Lincoln Technical Institute was founded in 1946 in response to the need for job skill training for returning WWII veterans. The goal then, and now, was to provide students with knowledge and training that would allow them to be productive and profitable members of the work force. Massage Therapy Program
The staff at Lincoln Tech approached therapeutic massage as a holistic approach to health. The massage therapy program is structured to include a combination of hands-on training and thorough coursework in the science of massage. Students will receive extensive training in anatomy and physiology in order to have a complete understanding of the internal mechanics of massage therapy.
The massage therapy program at Lincoln Tech will prepare students to offer the healing touch of a skilled massage therapist. Students will learn to treat the whole person, emotionally and physically, as they use massage to promote relaxation, reduce stress, treat and prevent injuries and enhance blood flow to all muscle groups.
Students in the massage therapy program will also be trained to successfully launch a career as a massage therapist. Whether they choose to start their own business or seek employment with a spa or health care facility, Lincoln tech will make sure that students learn the skills necessary to build and launch a business or market themselves to prospective employers.
Financial Aid
The staff at Lincoln Tech is committed to assisting students to identify every relevant method of funding their education. If financial assistance is required, they will help you formulate a funding plan. The plan may include Federal and State grants, loans, private financing or developing an affordable payment plan.
Students eligible for Federal aid may benefit from Stafford Loans, PLUS loans or Pell grants. Lincoln Tech students receive more than $1 million in scholarships each year. The financial aid staff will assist students in determining eligibility and filing appropriate applications.

The Northeast Philadelphia Campus of Lincoln Tech is located in a very attractive building and features spacious classrooms along with state-of-the-art medical labs and a simulated medical facility.
