Massage Therapy Programs
Students in the Massage Therapy Program at The Bryman School receive extensive training in anatomy, physiology and pathology. They become skilled in the practice of analyzing and treating soft tissue injuries and are instructed in the use of proper body mechanics to prevent injuries.
The curriculum includes instruction in a variety of methodologies including traditional Swedish massage and other treatments like hydrotherapy, sports massage, deep tissue massage, chair massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, lymphatic drainage and spa treatments.
Participants in the massage therapy program also receive a thorough education in nutrition, stress management and wellness. Additionally, training in first aid, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification is also provided.
