Walter Rasmussen founded Rasmussen Practical Business School in 1900. In the handbook, it stated its goal: “To prepare young men and women for responsible positions in all lines of business.”

About the Massage Therapy Program
Massage therapy is a beneficial health care tool that can help a variety of people. From elderly patients to pregnant women and infants, a wide range of people find relief in massage. In addition, students will be instructed in the areas of Pathology for Massage Therapy, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Alternative Modalities, Business and Wellness, Communication, and Career Development. Facilities
Rasmussen College’s St. Cloud campus recently underwent renovation in order to provide medical, pharmacy technician, and medical assisting labs, classrooms, and a massage therapy center for its expanding allied health programs. The new addition will add over 8000 square feet of space to the already big space.
Financial Aid
Rasmussen participates in federal financial aid programs, so students should fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to determine if they meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, Rasmussen accepts outside private or local scholarships and grants. Work study is also available to students with demonstrable need.
