About the Massage Therapy Program
Providing the training needed in order to seek entry-level employment as a massage therapist, the Massage Therapy curriculum at Everest University provides a balance of clinical skills, technical knowledge, and academic expertise.
In addition to training in business and ethics, students of this program will learn about Swedish massage, Eastern theory and practice, clinical and sports massage and health and wellness. These skills will equip graduates with the knowledge needed in order to pursue a career in massage therapy.
At Everest - Tampa, students will also receive hands-on training in pre-natal/post-natal massage, infant and geriatric massage, energy and non-traditional therapies, CPR, and Western theory and practice. With this well-rounded training, graduates of the massage therapy program at Everest University may seek employment in a hospital, doctor's office, health spa, fitness center, or rehabilitation center.
