South Texas Vocational Technical Institute prepares students for entry into today’s most in-demand careers, including health care, business, technology, as well as an intensive course in English for ESL students.
With three campuses in Southern Texas, STVTC offers training programs that range from six to twelve months. The accelerated pace allows students to not only gain knowledge in their fields but also work with job placement specialists to further enhance job prospects.
The ESL program is designed to help adult students master the English language in reading, writing, and speaking.

Lasting just over 7 months, the Professional Massage Therapy program at South Texas Vocational Technical Institute is designed to prepare students to seek employment as a professional massage therapist. In addition to focusing on advanced massage techniques, this program centers around clinical methods, and the art of massage therapy.
Coursework is varied, and includes the topics of myofascial release, trigger-point therapy, business mastery, Swedish massage, pathology, kinesiology, anatomy, physiology, aromatherapy, and sports massage. In addition, the topics of acupressure, pre-natal massage, reflexology, and massage for special populations are discussed and studied in detail.
