Arizona College (formerly Arizona College of Allied Health) has been serving Phoenix for over twenty years. It now has two conveniently located campuses in the Phoenix metro area in Glendale and Mesa. Arizona College believes in a structured and disciplined environment to help each student reach their educational potential in order to later pursue their career goals. Arizona College offers allied health programs – Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, Massage Therapy, Health Information Technology and Pharmacy Technician.

The healthcare diploma and degree programs have been offered for over a decade. Arizona College offers flexible schedules, combined with hands-on training, as well as the dedicated faculty and Career Services placement department.  At the Arizona campus in Glendale, a Massage Therapy Training Program is offered.

Massage Therapy Training Programs

During their training, Massage Therapists will learn about the medical benefits of Massage Therapy as well as how to treat injuries,  overworked Massage Therapy Training in arizonamuscles, and promote overall wellness through therapeutic massage. While attending the Massage Therapy program, students have the opportunity to learn basic business and marketing skills to help them promote their services as a Massage Therapist.  Arizona College offers flexible morning and evening classes to fit into students’ busy schedule. Coursework is designed to prepare students to become Licensed Massage Therapists.

For Massage Therapists already working in the industry and looking to expand their knowledge of the latest techniques and emerging trends, Arizona College also offers continuing education in massage therapy courses. These courses are designed to help Massage Therapists build their skills both on the table and in their business savvy.

Arizona College provides a background in anatomy and physiology to benefits students’ understanding of movement, postural alignment, and structural dysfunction. The Massage Therapy program incorporates training on equipment such as massage tables, massage chairs, anatomy charts, human skeletons, hot stones, and anatomical DVDs. Arizona College also offers classes in Business and Marketing to provide the knowledge for students to market and promote their services as an employee or entrepreneur.

Arizona College’s Glendale Campus is the school’s official headquarters, offering laboratories, classrooms, and facilities that encourage interactive learning, along with supportive instructors and helpful staff.

The College renovated the existing space and remodeled the office area, the student lounge, restrooms, lobby, and the Admissions and Financial Aid office waiting areas.  The decision to expand the Glendale campus was due to growth that occurred in the student population.

Financial Aid

Many of the students attending Arizona College receive some sort of financial aid. By filling out a FAFSA, students are able to apply for a variety of federal aid possibilities. These include grants, scholarships, and loans. Additionally, students may find that they qualify for private grants, loans, and scholarships based on their fields of study, previous academic performance, and family history.
