About the Arizona School of Integrative Studies

At ASIS, quality education and practical skills are offered to students so that they may be professionally empowered and advance their career goals in a reasonable amount of time. There are four Arizona campuses and ASIS offers transpersonal massage therapy training dedicated to the health of the individual. In a welcoming environment, students are invited to take the time and space needed to learn the techniques involved in massage therapy.

Students have the opportunity to explore anatomy & physiology, alternative health, self awareness & mindfulness, business, communications & ethics, along with a wide variety of massage modalities, at the different Arizona campuses of ASIS.

 

About the Massage Therapy Course

Massage therapy is a growing field in the United States as more and more people recognize the benefits of massage to relieve pain, reduce stress and tension, and prevent injury. Students may be prepared to work in a variety of settings from hospitals and physical therapy centers to spas and salons.

This full-time, intensive program is designed to give students the hands-on training, practical experience and personal development it takes to pursue a successful, rewarding career in Massage Therapy.

Students who graduate this program may feel comfortable performing the following massage modalities and techniques:

Faculty & Facilities

Faculty members at ASIS are committed to their students’ success. Instructors set aside the time to fully prepare the individual student to absorb the lessons taught throughout their coursework. Faculty members enforce hands-on training so that students are able to succeed beyond the completion of their coursework.

The Prescott campus offers a variety of amenities that will enhance students’ coursework. Amenities include: laboratories, multimedia lecture rooms, real-world equipment for hands-on training, and relevant instruction.

Accreditation

ASIS is licensed by the Arizona State Board for Private Post-Secondary Education and accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET).

Going to School in Prescott, AZ

The Prescott campus is the second oldest Arizona Massage School and is located on the edge of Granite Creek, in downtown Prescott, where weekend festivities are abundant.  Prescott is known endearingly as “Everybody’s Hometown” with its small town charm, historic County Courthouse, tree-lined plaza and surrounding shops and restaurants that are extremely walkable.

Prescott is a mile-high city with four mild seasons and a plethora of trails and outdoor opportunities. Within five miles in any direction, you can find yourself amidst pines, junipers, boulders, granite, cactus, and the natural beauties of the high desert.

Within a short drive, visitors can experience elevations ranging from 1,200 feet to 12,000, and within walking distance one can enjoy Prescott’s unique blend of pioneer flavors, open air cafes and outdoor recreation. Neighboring towns include Sedona, Jerome, Flagstaff, and the Verde Valley.

Within an hour and a half lie metropolitan Phoenix to the south, the Mogollon Rim to the east, and the Grand Canyon to the north. Mountain biking, climbing, bouldering, kayaking, and hiking are just a few of the activities to be enjoyed in this mile high city.

Prescott is home to three colleges: Yavapai College, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and Prescott College.  For college credit, students can dual register with ASIS Massage Education and Prescott College.
