Massage Therapy Program

A highly experiential program, the Massage Therapy curriculum at Cortiva Institute is grounded in science and best practices. Throughout the course of the program, students will learn how to make a real difference in the health of their clients via a solid foundation of therapeutic technique skills. As graduates soon become colleagues, the students and faculty at Cortiva Institute are working towards the same goal.

A comprehensive training program, students will learn about the communication, business, and clinical aspects of the profession in order to become confident members of this exciting profession In addition, students will learn via instructors who actively practice what they preach in the classroom, and are selected for their dedication to the healing arts, expertise, and passion for teaching.

In addition to a national online job portal, students at Cortiva Institute  also benefit from individual web pages, free Graduate Series workshops, customized placement and career services, and an online profession journal. Individualized learning and hands-on practicum are the fundamental building blocks of the massage therapy program.

Faculty & Facilities

Cortiva faculty members are exceptional teachers; lead instructors are Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and have an average of five years teaching experience. They are committed to the success of their students and are also professionals in the massage therapy field.

They bring their experience and love of helping people into the classroom. This energy is infectious to students learning the details of the massage therapy profession. Faculty members are also trained in the TIPP Learning System, in which each student’s learning style is determined and accommodated for. This, along with the faculty’s expertise and dedication, is designed so that each student has the opportunity to succeed.

Facilities are modern, up-to-date, and well-equipped to ensure that Cortiva students are able to succeed during their coursework. The Institute features new massage equipment, A/V lecture technology, and  a computerized student resource center and student lounge.


Cortiva Institute is accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (“COMTA”).

Financial Aid

Financial Aid is available to those students that qualify at Cortiva Institute. Students need to fill out a FAFSA to determine if they meet eligibility requirements. In addition, payment plans can be developed to help individual students meet their financial obligations. Students should meet with financial aid representatives to discuss their individual needs.
